Used car prices
Apart from paying out to have parker information, how else can I find out how much I can expect to buy / sell a car for? Or is asking here the best option?
Just in case it is, it's an S reg Clio, only done 53k, 1.2, 3dr. I'm looking to replace it with an approx 5 ish year old Clio, also 1.2 with PAS.
Any ideas?

Check Autotrader - then be cheeky, ring up some advertised examples, see if they sold & ask how much they went for & how many calls,
Let the seller know why you're calling them, to be fair, then they won't think you're some advertising space merchant, looking to sell them something!

what car magazine has listings in the back of it, you might be able to find out what you need in a newsagent or a local library might have it if you don't want to buy the magazine
I think you can probably find out on their website as well...0 -

Get down to Tesco and pick up a Parkers / Glass' price guide, buy one or just read it there and you can check the prices...

If you're chums with a dealer, then they might let you have an old copy of Glasses Guide or CAP Black Book which is the car "bible" of the motor trade.
Otherwise autotrader, local newspaper classifieds, Loot, Parkers, Ebay should give you a good indication on current prices.Lack of money is the root of all evil.
