O2 to O2 free calls

I have recently renewed my O2 pay monthly contract and was surprised when the 500 free O2 to O2 minutes just disappeared. A month later some charges have appeared because I now have only the old 100 minutes any network calls. When I questioned why my new contract is not the same as the old one, O2 said it is... But the 500 free 02 to O2 was an extra (bolt on) and NO LONGER AVAILABLE ON ANY TARIFF. So buyer beware of O2...

We are regularly told on this board that phone contracts don't expire, therefore you can only continue one or start a fresh one.

What I thought I was doing was "continuing" my old contract, which O2 insists I am... BUT WITHOUT the previous free extra 500 O2 to O2 minutes

In the 1st post you mentioned new contract, so you cannot be continuing the previous agreement.
