Phones 4 U - Buyout Help?

Hey everyone!

Just looking for a bit of advice here.
I have a contract with EE that is due to end on the 22nd of Jan.
But the phone has sadly met my cousins 5 year old and well is now useless.

I have been borrowing a friends S3 but now they are needing it back.
At this point I was thinking crap..... Gonna be paying £41.00 a month and not gonna have a phone til Jan.

But someone told me that Phones 4 U do a buy out system.
Now before I get on the phone and waste a lovely afternoon of been sent from pillar to post haha I was hoping you fine people could tell me if this could be an option of me or if theres some evil hidden motive thats gonna end up costing me the earth lol.

Any help would be amazing!
Thank you

Buyout is a delusion. In fact you are sacrificing a big cashback or discount that you would be able to get when buying a new contract or upgrading in due time.

Buy a sim-only or PAYG phone and use it on the existing contract. Very good phones are available for ~£100. Moto E costs just ~£80 and will perfectly do everything you need until Jan.

they basically charge you a higher rate to compensate, ie a crap phone would come 300 quid cash back for instance they would use this money to "buy you out".

much better off using a payg phone with contract sim till the end of your contract and then getting a great deal than getting ripped off now.
