You paid on your card? Credit card or bank card?

I'm so glad to hear that you didn't go back.
How much of the returned money was his?0 -
It depends how much money you are talking about really. If it's a few hundred pounds and the equivalent of a few weeks child support that's a very different matter to thousands and thousands.
Who paid for the deposits?
How much child support should be be giving you?0 -
So you have left him, Meesha? Or did you throw him out? Well done! It will be hard just now, but things will get better as time goes by.
Now then - the refunds on the wedding - if you paid on your card, I would suggest paying it back off your card - unless you have a 0% interest deal at the moment, in which case, put it into a savings account. He is going to have to pay you maintenance for your daughter, regardless of the fact that he will need money for his baby with the other woman, so don't start feeling sorry for him. Unless you can come to an amicable settlement then you should start proceedings with the new CSA, and I believe that if he has the two children, then he will be expected to pay you something in the region of 10% of his salary for the maintenance of his daughter.0 -
Phew, that's a relief, well done!
As f the mney, f course you should keep,it, do you think he has spent nothing on that woman so far, money that you could say was half yours.?
So glad you are being strong!Norn Iron Club member 4730 -
Meesha these last couple of weeks must have been so difficult for you. My thoughts and hugs go to you.
Keep the money, at least for now, in a savings account (if not paid on credit card). At some point you two will need to sit down and discuss finace, including CSA payments and any other savings you may have together.
Dont worry about it for now. Concentrate on you and your daughter.0 -
Can't help thinking that this tale of woe is just a fabrication of someone's fertile imagination.

Meesha, so glad to hear you haven't gone back to him just because you were lonely.
As for the money keep it for the moment you will have to discuss money, splitting items from the house you shared etc at some point but probably best to wait until you aren't feeling so emotional.Starting Mortgage Balance: £264,800 (8th Aug 2014)
Current Mortgage Balance: £269,750 (18th April 2016)0
