I live in Reading and Reading West is one of the bits I would avoid, that said you are not going to be set upon by gangs of hoodlums at a hotel.
Splash out 300 quid and stay actually at Legoland for the full experience?
High Wycombe also not brilliant in the town centre which is a student area. Beaconsfield is a nice area though. Or what about somewhere like Amersham where you can even get the tube into London.0 -
There is a Green Line bus service from Legoland car park to central London, if that is any help, and bus passes are accepted.0

There is a Travelodge in Slough,(In Herschel Street)right on the 702 bus route,also the Copthorne hotel,but that may be expensive,and a Holiday inn opposite the Copthorne,by junction 6 of the M4.Avoid Hounslow,its a dump.I live in Slough,behind the Copthorne hotel actually!!!...Good luck!0

Thanks for the advice all I did tell them not all places are as bad as they thought and that they should not believe everything they read. I think they thought it was all gangs and muggings going on everywhere. I do not know why they thought that, Im guessing they been watching to much tv :rotfl:
I think they are sticking with Slough now as its where they stayed last time and they thought it was a nice place. Now they are just going to decide between premier inn and holiday inn. They did want to stay in London after hearing there were no charges on weekends but they think it would be to complicated.
Any way thanks for the advice all.Wins 2014 - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVYXYZ
