Moto v3 (i think)

hi,
I have just been given a motorola v3 (black, flip phone, with camera (vga zoom 4x) locked to orange. the contract finished a couple of months ago. how can i use my vodafone sim card? is there a free unlock or does it need a pro unlocker (where can i find one? i live in poole/bournemouth area of dorset)?

you can do it yourself with a mini usb cable at your own risk (like the ones with an mp3 player)

Thanks, i'll give it a go. where can i get one of the usb cables? is that just a store bought thing?

I paid in the market to get mine unlocked .Use a digital camera cable that what i use to connect mine to the computer

If you dont know what your doing i wouldn't use that software to unlock it your self , as you could end up with a brick ! Its about £5 or less to get it unlocked in a market.I haggled the guy in the market when i had mine unlocked and got the price down .

i've seen it on the net for just under 5quid to have it unlocked...

Get it unlocked easily by subsidy code plenty places offer it, have look on google or ebay. no chance of damaging the phone.

beware the £5 is not to send you the same s/w as the link i gave.
for a bit more you can get a code from moto database
