I am already in talks with their customer service advisor.
And I wouldn't be surprised if they are monitoring this thread either. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
Did anyone actually receive the beauty kit? No one has actually confirmed this?
I went for the appointment a month ago and got the code and put in the website but still have nothing. I emailed the support and they said they would look into it, but I have heard nothing back for weeks.
I think its false advertising as I dont think everyone got the kit. It is worth trying this promotion gives you a free eye test and lens trial, which would have cost £55 altogether. There were ads for this promotion in my D&A so they did at least know about it.
Oh but watch out for their contact lenses scheme, they want you to pay 3 months in advance for your lenses by direct debit, a bit sneaky I think.0 -
hi there!! just thought i'd let you's all know [again -as i also posted this one week's ago]I DID GO FOR THIS-AND IV'E HAD THE GOODIE'S -im actually 27 y.o [lol]-so i lied about my age to make me 24 hmmmm!! anyways you have to book in for the eye test first of all [if you don't allready have glasses ect] then once you've had that done -if you need the glasses,[luckly i did anyway]then you can get the contact len's assesment [but if you don't then you miss out-as you've got to wear/ or kid on your interested in [like me:rolleyes: another lie} contact's, and once youv'e got that done you will recive a voucher with a code [it look's like 4 photos from a booth]and go on to the reinvent yourself web site- and see on the right hand side you can see about 6 picture's of girl's,so click on the top left one and you will get a site that says "have you got your code?" -and when you have it say's "it take's 5-10 day's to arrive," but it only took mine 4 day's-i was expecting a box delivery/some kind of big parcell to come though and it was small enough to fit through my post box but still worth it 4 free.a wis happy with it and i also got a nice pair of funky reading glasses too[lol]so no complaint's here then!!

I totally agree with everything you've said!
I entered the code on August 11th and I knew they'll be lying when it said it will be dispatched in "5-10 working days" well I've waited a whole month now and still no sign.
During the wait, I have emailed [EMAIL="contactus@danda.co.uk"]contactus@danda.co.uk[/EMAIL] and I've been receiving replies from Christine Boyd in Customer Care Team.
I've just emailed her again asking where it is because the last time I've spoken to her was 30th August and she replied saying
Please accept our apologies for this delay. I have forwarded this information onto the department who send our the goodie bags and have requested that they email you to confirm dispatch
obviously, I haven't received crap from them though!
damn myself being so greedy and wanting this beauty kit
