He helped me a couple of times with prizes that the promoters were shy to send me. On both occasions the issues were quickly resolved with his involvement.

I've just had to refer a missing prize to them and you get the same response from complaints@theipm.org.uk

Let hope they maintain their excellent standards without him.

Wonderful guy, extremely helpful - sorted a Superdrug dispute for me resulting in £250 compensation.

Oh dear I don't think they are going to be quite as helpful going forward just received:

    Dear Gillian

Thank you for contacting the IPM. We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the ******************* Competition.

We would advise you to contact the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) who can investigate your complaint. The ASA is the UK’s independent regulator of advertising across all media. You can submit your complaint online via the ASA website - http://www.asa.org.uk/Consumers/How-to-complain.aspx

    Many thanks for contacting us.

    Kind Regards

    Hina

So we may as well go straight to the ASA in future.

Can anyone answer a question regarding the IPM for me?

I contacted them about a prize I won in December but I haven't heard from them yet. It was a couple of weeks ago now. Is this usual or should I now chase up the IPM, haha :D

May you all have lots of luck, Emma xx

Well my missing prize rolled up very early this morning - I was still in bed! - by what the delivery man himself described as a 'ridiculously expensive' early morning delivery method so I would suggest you mention the ASA and make your complaint there.

He'll be missed. Such a helpful and courteous man.

I agree, he was an absolute star! I really hope he has a long and enjoyable retirement.

Thanks for the PM lilias, I've amended the Comping Guide to reflect the fact that he's no longer there.
Sad because you don't know what to do? Comping question? Take a look in the Comping Guide to find out
