Filing date for hearing

  • Hi Coupon mad, i drafted the letter this morning and took it down to Bolton Court, along with the Moloney leave to appeal letter. A member of staff there was quite rude and treated me as though it was an inconvenience to her. Anyway she then told me that she would get it straight through to the Judge. I am now wanting to know the outcome of those 3 cases, Do you know how i can find out if the cases have been adjourned?

You were very good to do that. We haven't heard about the outcomes of those 3 cases...I do hope she did pass your AC letter to the Judge. I would ring up and ask.

  • coupon-mad, i am happy for you to share any info that i submit. I have read many times how the court's can be a lottery, but they come across more like a mine field. You would expect all judges to be singing from the same hymn sheet,so to speak. It baffles me how judges can be so inconsistent.

An adjournment request on the day is better as they will have to pay the £300+ vat for the brief to turn up and be sent home.

Write back and ask for another stay because the Beavis case is now going to the Supreme court.
