Need help choosing a new mobile please.

Hi I have a Samsung Galaxy Y and I hate it!
I can't seem to go more than a couple of days without having to delete my texts and emails as it runs out of memory. I have a small sd card in there but it makes no difference.
I have no idea what specifications I need to get this sorted. I would also like it to run a bit faster.
I don't use my phone much but I would like it to do what it is meant to do without too much fussing.
I don't really want to spend more than £100 - preferable much less than that.
any suggestions please?
