Thanks abba1972, October Starter and Aloofdragon for your support. Think I may have given up except for this forum. Just keep thinking when these debts are paid I will be 300 pounds a month better off and able to treat myself but nose to the grindstone for next few months.

Spent money and bought a cake today - tut tut. Full of cold and didn't fancy my lunch. OOPS.

Have a lovely weekend folks x

  • Hi Calling14.

Keep going, I know it's tough but we will get there in the end if we keep at it.

I've really been struggling at the moment to stay focused and have to admit I'm feeling rather down about debt busting at the moment.

Onwards and upwards (or downwards in debt I hope!) :)

  • Hi Calling!

How is your weekend going? We have sunshine here but it is still cold. I don't mind that so much though as it is so nice to see the sunshine.

I don't know whether you feel the same but I feel like the journey is made that much more pleasurable by coming on here and talking with friends about absolutely everything!

You are doing really well and you mustn't forget it.

    October xx

Hi October. Was lovely and sunny here first thing. Went for dog walk first thing as couldn't sleep have the flu bug but feel worse sat in the house. Even felt warm after brisk walk.

Let the bunny out first time he hasn't turned and ran back into his cage- spring must be on the way.

Cleaned downstairs and been to Aldee. Needed milk not sure how that came to £14 lol. Have food in but in fussy mode.

Clouded over now and feels damp outside. Feel rough now so chilling out, rest of the day.

The support from everyone on here picks you up when things aren't going well. Have a brilliant day.

  • Sounds like the perfect afternoon for a nice warm blanket, hot chocolate and a good film.

Enjoy your rest and I hope you feel better soon.

Well emerging from the Great Flu slowly but surely it has to end soon.
Thanks October, watched Frozen after work yday with grandson as he is full of cold as well. Annoying song stuck in head now!

Yesterday whilst feeling sorry for myself looked into balance transfer deals. Had a good offer I thought 0% till Feb 2016 and 2% tf fee off Virgin(existing cardholder), Read through Martins waffle on it and thought shall I try for the Halifax one 13mths 0% and 0% fee? Well did and got accepted so hopefully this will save me 94 pounds in fees. Not applying for any bank/ new mortgages in the near future so my credit rating not crucial at this time. Will probably have to be a long term tart - Martins words not mine and move a little bit about a the end of the deal. Very pleased indeed with myself - smug face on, love being a tart.

And I thought the Flu was over still feel awful. Going to be a long day in work, then day 3 of watching Frozen again grandson is hooked on it. Might have been cute the first time but can't watch it third day running :(

:TGood news paid 140.00 off my credit cards:T

    :jTotal as at 12.02.15 5510.00:beer:

Going to be tough next few weeks but at least won't be paying interest on the cards. Now need to save for dentist 180.00 should have another couple of weeks before need to pay. Start work on crown tomorrow as if I don't feel bad enough. Ignore feeling sorry for myself today :(

Have a good day folks weekend nearly upon us. I can't wait.

Paid off so far this year 439.00 if I carried on like that could be debt free in a years time. Could have probably done better but paying for London trip at the same time at the moment. May bring my DFD forward to July 2016 to keep myself on my toes.
Thats my thought for the day - now my head hurts. Is it hometime yet lol x
