Going to Mexico soon,(for 2 weeks), all inclusive, want to do couple of excursions, me and OH, was taking £700 in Mexican peso, in cash, is this wise or is there a alternative. Thanks

Credit cards are widely accepted and there are ATMs everywhere.
Personally I wouldn't take that much in cash0 -
As said above, credit cards often widely accepted. We used USD$ to pay for excursions when we went a couple of years ago. They were widely accepted.0
