Hi there saw an article in last Sundays Daily Mail regarding Travel Mule.does any one have any experience of using them ,or any other alternative company.
It's seems a good idea ,as we get older lugging heavy suitcases is becoming hard work.this seems a an ideal answer to that problem.

I think summer 2014 is their first season so there may be few or no reviews. They certainly have good PR agents, they have deals with a number of major travel companies, who presumably checked them out before agreeing to promote them and as you say, the idea seems a very good one0

Is it really worth it? Have you looked at the list of prohibited items with them?

It covers most of the things, you would take hold luggage for anyway. And it doesn't work out much cheaper. ( Although, who would want to take a windscreen, Slush Syrup or Seat belt tensioners with them anyway ! lol)
You would be better off buying a case with 4 wheels on it and paying someone at the airport to lift your case for you !0 -
I've seen quite a bit about them online, on various travel websites and have had a look at their website. Personally I wouldn't use them,or any other luggage carrier. For me it's a matter of trust and also the inconvenience.
I know luggage carriers should make it more convenient and less stressful but for me it would be the exact opposite. Most of them want you to have cases ready a few days before you travel, in order to get them to your hotel on time, but I always have last minute bits that I want to throw in my case or need right up until we set off so that wouldn't suit me.
I would also then worry that the cases wouldn't arrive at my hotel, or in some scenarios maybe the reception wouldn't be open when I arrived and I wouldn't be able to get my cases on time. And lastly the value of cover on the insurance isn't very high, unless you pay extra which then pushes it to being more expensive than booking baggage anyway. My hair straighteners alone cost more than £100, never mind shoes, perfume, etc.
I think if these issues wouldn't bother you then it's worth considering, but for me its a no no.Lea

Isn't it strange though that they have tried to make the website look a bit like Easyjets? Wonder how Easyjet feel about it?
It even looks like the same font used, definitely the same colour scheme.0 -

I think it's different enough for it not to cause confusion, and therefore for Easyjet not to care.
Though the service looks ridiculously expensive. Presumably all they do is book a courier to pick up and drop off your suitcase - something you can order yourself through a site such as parcelmonkey or parcel2go for much less. A 20KG suitcase to Spain return costs £70 via Luggagemule or £46 with parcel2go.0
