Are there any proven ways to earn money working online/not leaving the house?

Just two more questions.
1. In the FAQ it says you need a a valid Tax Identification Number or if you are self employed you need a social security number. Do UK residents need this or does this only apply for US residents?
2. In the Requirements section it says many independent agent assignments require fluency in a language other than English. I only have a fluency in English and not any other languages. Is this a problem?
1. US only I believe. I don't remember having to put in anything special, but I may be wrong. There weren't any particular hoops to jump through. It counts as being self employed, so you do have to do your own taxes and such.
2. No language requirements needed for UK. You work in your own language.0 -
One of the funniest ones i've read about was a woman who'd answer dirty phone calls and 'pant' down the phone. Or even answer by text while she was sitting watching Emmerdale.
lol a collegue at works wife does that he was telling the lads on a night out it earns 750pm, she could earn more but she deals with people who are horrendous cant manage more time speaking too the pervs lol0 -
Interesting thread, thanks everyone for the replies
anyone know a good beginner guide on making money through online marketing ?0 -
Some good ideas here to get me going.
With swagbucks and the rest. i just singed up to it but realized i get disqualified for not concentrating/powering thru them as fast as possible on surveys.
Are there any tasks that dont require any mental capacity to complete? either on this site or on the others? If so which please?0 -

On Swagbucks, there are a number of mind-numbing tasks that can be performed with 1/4 brain power - including NOSO, Daily Poll, Flash Games, Watching videos / SBTV.0 -

I would like to tell you where I learned affiliate marketing, but I'm afraid that anyone that tries to help by providing a link to such information will almost certainly have their post removed and/or be censured by MSE. They don't like people to discuss online marketing much despite the fact that this site itself makes money from affiliate links.
What I would say is be very careful - there are a lot of scams doing the rounds and lots of bad outdated advice that will get you in trouble with Google et al.
Beware: If you get sent to a site where you see a man holding a photoshopped 5-figure cheque for a month's work or a man swimming in cash or a man wearing 6 fake Rolexes etc, press the back button as fast as you can.
Golden Rule: Online marketing is very hard work. There is money to be made, but anyone that suggests to you that you can get rich quick using their "system" is trying to scam you.
Good luck.0 -

Thanks.
How much could i expect to get from these? I was looking at the conversion and it looked pitiful like one cent per 100 cbs and stuff.
I currently have a shortfall of between £80-100 a week so how much a week could these non mental provoking cashbucks tasks cover potentially?
Also I notice with some you're only allowed to do them one time per day, are others uncapped so you could keep earning bucks as long as your patience permitted?0 -
I work as a software developer from home, £500 a week. But I only got this job because I know someone who runs the project.0

I work as a phone chat/webcam and directIM girl, and I earn more from doing this a couple of evenings a week than I do in my "real" job0
