Well, it depend on seceral factor :
    • how much time you willing to spend doing the task
    • how much offer that available for you
    • how many referrals do you have
For US/UK/CA/AU citizen, they can earn decent side income from GPT site.

£1-2 / hour is not bad, but its kinda small earn for US/UK/CA/AU member. You may want to try to work on other site to get additional money. :)

There other sites to consider, but you will be lucky to earn minimum wage rates doing GPT / survey work IMO. This is the reason that I chose to build Affiliate Marketing websites instead. Very modest start-up costs and it's just getting paid for writing, which is something that I don't find to be a chore.

I still do a little Swagbucks when I have nothing better to do with my time, but I got fed up doing boring surveys - you need to do these to maximise your income.

You also need to steer clear of some of the dodgy "free trial" stuff - many of the free trials are a bit of a con and very hard to cancel - Lotto24 etc.

As for referrals, I have 17 "lifetime 10% on everything" ones, but none of them are very active. The problem is that they seem to quite as soon as they realise how much a Swag Buck is actually worth in real money terms.

What's the most likely amount of money to earn per week on swagbucks? maybe £10-£20 per week?

When I first started, I used to earn £10 per week spending about 1-1.5 hours per day (it was only as much as £10 because I cashed out in iTunes and not paypal).

In fact, I did a youtube video showing people which parts of the site to avoid and where to find the easy Swag Bucks. I posted it on this forum once to try to help someone, but the mods deleted it.

Obviously, £520 at the end of the year can help to pay for Xmas, but you can't earn a living just doing GPT work. You need to be a bit more adventurous.

GPT site is only for additional income, not for "earn a living". But its always good to have some additional income. For $200 - $300 / month, i think its not so hard to earn from GPT site, especially if you're from US/UK/CA/AU. You can earn even more if you have some active referral.

Look for jobs as a chat moderator for online bingo sites. My mate just got a job for a small one working at home for £20k a year (although I think he has to do some customer service stuff too)

Typically someone who is a chat mod can earn around £7 per hour.

If you want to earn a decent living rather than a bit of pocket money, I think you need to consider it in the same way you'd consider getting any (offline) job. Nobody is going to pay you good money to do something you're not good at or that a couple of monkeys at a computer could do!

What are you good at? What do you do for your main job currently - can you apply any of that to online/at home work? What are your interests? Just looking 'for a job' is a bit pointless I think.
  • It all depends upon your skills - I often hire people through freelancer.co.uk for simple writing, reviewing tasks. But you need to be aware that online work can be done anywhere in the world so you're competing a against people from india etc who are quite cheap.

there are MANY way to earn a decent income from home.

I earn circa £1000 a month online from home, I don't do direct selling or franchises or any of that.

It's just earned through opportunities that sites offer you online if you are willing put in the effort and work. I don't do any online work that won't offer me £20/hr minimum anyway

There's a lot of proven ways to earn money online, but be wary there are a lot of scams out there and rehashed old methods sold as ebooks.

Do you have a particular income goal in mind? You said on page 1 that your looking for extra income so I guess your not looking to earn a living online.
