Is there any way to store your favourite radio stations, so that you can easily switch to another at a press of a button? :huh:0 -
Many people overlook the fact that you can listen to internet radio with Windows Media Player (not to be confused with Media Centre). Open WMP and click on the little Windows (flag) symbol in the bottom left corner which opens up the Media Guide. Loads of radio stations to choose from.
Of course it does require the PC to be on which I think the OP is trying to avoid?... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -

I use the app on my phone and tablet and its quite good, you can choose to like a station or a song, if you like a station it will store it under favorites.0 -
I would highly recommend Roberts, great sound:
Roberts Stream 83i, cost £110-125.0 -
I've just bought one of these for under £35 (new) off Ebay:

If you only regularly listen to 3 or 4 stations, I think it's a great concept. You plug it into a PC to set up your stations, and after that you just turn it over to select which preset you want to listen to, or put it face-down (or face-up) to turn it off. I'm looking forward to trying it out!0 -
Bless you fenlander, my bro' broadcasts a film music show on city radio Sunday evenings. Thanks to your tip, I should be able to record it, going forward0

Thanks Lammy, could you come back please and tell me how it sounds. BB
Edit, Just had a look at the spec, not sure if you can operate it on mains elec, perhaps just leaving the charger connected? This is an open forum, anyone can post and I just did !0 -

Thanks, but I'm using it right now on my laptop. Whilst there is an option to "Follow", I can't see how to add as a favourite. Even when I have "Followed" a few radio stations, there does not appear to be an option to call up the list so that I can choose which one I want to listen to.0 -
I wonder if that changes if you sign up/sign in to TuneIn? Or whether it is a Pro-only option?
Of course there's also the Radio Player app - this definitely does support favourites.0
