I love that lavender colour. We have a different shade of cupinol and have masonary paint in the same colour. So far we have painted....gulp......a couple of hundred ( not square, length...some is six foot high, some double that) in our home and business and while I still love it and am glad we have done it I have sort of snow blindness. Really glad we didn't go for white thinking about it! We are painting the back of our house a different colour and though we have a couple of hundred feet more.

With a shed its probably less import at, but choosing a colour we really like has kept us sane!

I have had great plans for my shed for years and have made bits of it happen over time :D Some ideas include:

    Outside:

    Painted a gorgeous colour
    Hanging baskets
    Planters at the front
    Window box
    Bird/bat box
We are going to have a chalkboard section for the children

    Inside:
    Painted white
Hooks round the wall for tools
    Desk/work space
    Curtains
    Insulated if using year round
    Seating
    Linoleum for the floor
    Shelving

There are loads of good ideas if you google :D
Taking responsibility one penny at a time!

I plan to paint my shed like a beach hut .... but I'll be sitting in the comfort of the house looking at it. Everything's in the house, so no point having a shed to sit in! ... the shed will be for the lawnmower, bike, empty boxes and "stuff you put in a shed".

The rest of the garden will also be "beach themed" ... with lots of shells etc, with bits/bobs being added to here and there over the years cheap/free (rather than styling it with a big chequebook and shop catalogues).
