    Hmmmmmmm....

Just a query, does your husband work in a school?
Is he targeted by school kids?
I'm struggling to consider an alternative where he has furthered the employability of thousands and thousands of young Scottish people and yet is being targeted in the workplace.

    No he doesn't.

And I'd be surprised if school children targeted teachers anyway. The many children we know have a very broad national and international outlook, also are tolerant of everyone's views.

[Professorships are University, not school, appointments. The title is not kept on leaving or retirement unless there is a conferment of Emeritus on retirement which recognises a long and illustrious, usually international, University career.]

....Despite you thinking there’s nothing special about them, I think they’re easy to recognise. Well, maybe not by you, that is.

They all had 10,000km2 of land or more, at least 600,000 people or more, a capital city, a parliament, a national identity, and, unless they bordered Serbia, well-defined borders.....

Actually the world has quite a number of countries that are quite hard to recognise and have quite ill-defined borders, despite not being anywhere in the vicinity of Serbia.

There are a number in Somalia, more in the Caucasus for example. Even those countries that are fairly well recognised often have borders that are disputed and have therefore yet to to be precisely defined.

Then it sounds like he has such a prominent position to affect thousands and thousands of young Scottish people's employability.

I would have though such a beneficial person would not be targeted against for doing such sterling work

That's good to hear, so a positive outlook that Scottish People do not discriminate

Your right, he was a professor and is now referred to as Dr.
