  • It will be interesting to see what they offer. I will be in the same position on the 1st September. I understand they are offering free evening and weekend calls as a retention tool, but be careful they dont remove your 25% discount, which if I understand correctly is for life.

I only left T-Mobile retentions a few months ago, but I can pretty much guess what you'll get. You won't be able to hang onto both the 25% discount and free evening and weekend calls as the system will clash and not allow it. Phone wise, your pretty much looking at top of the range ones, up to something like a K810i/U600. N95/Sirocco/PDA's you'll be charged for.

Line rental discounts, you can get £12 off, I used to be able to do it WITH the 25% discount still included but not sure if you still can

They pretty much make it so that a line rental discount is the best option. The money off is great if you buy your own phone, but I don't expect the N95 to be anywhere near £100 for you to upgrade to.

It was just about to be released when I left, and my manager said every customer would pay for it, so I'd say with your current expenditure it would be around the £200 if you push an advisor. Most will happily give you the £12 off per month as it's better for them, and if they don't notice you have the 25% discount, it'll get left on for you.
