Car hire Slovenia this summer

Hello,
I was wondering if any could give me some advice on which car hire option to go for.
I've looked on travelsupermarket to compare prices of car hire at Ljubljana airport and am very happy to see that can get two weeks for around £60 a week!
However I'm unsure which company to go for. The lowest main company I viewed was Sixt. The cheaper prices are through places like Holiday auto and Argus car hire. Am I correct in thinking that these two companies are middlemen between customer and the actual car hire company? Looked on Holiday autos but it doesn't seem to let you know which company it's quoting prices for before purchase.
I'd rather know. Don't want the cheapest if it turns out to be a company with poor reputation.
Anyone had any experience with Sixt? As they're best price named company on there.

We've used http://www.economycarhire.com/ around 5 times now in different countries. the reason I like them is that they are actually based around 10 miles from us in Norfolk, and are "real" people should you need them. Again, I think they are a broker, so they use other companies, but what I like is their extra insurance, which is very comprehensive, and a lot cheaper than other companies. If you search the internet there is usually a 10% code available too.0

Try https://www.carrentals.co.uk as well.
Thanks found slightly cheaper deal direct through them. £121 for two weeks VW Polo or similar, air con.
Have you used them personally?Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
