It sounds to me like a hotel employee thieving. It could be as simple a scam as someone (or a combination of people) has paid with cash and they are pocketing the cash and putting your card through for payment so the til cashes up ok.Make £5 per day in August= £100/£155
Paid MS- £5+ £10 GR, £5 RE, £15 MS
£65 ebay profit
Waiting on payment- E160 BAI

I presume that you are referring to a debit card rather than a credit card.
If it was a debit card, it just reinforces what I have said numerous times on this site - ONLY use your debit card in an ATM. Every time you use your debit card anywhere else you are potentially opening up your bank account for someone to help themselves.
If you have to use plastic, use a credit card - any fraud then, 'aint your problem !0 -

Your card has been cloned by god knows who, yet you come on here and slander the Hilton brand even though the facts aren't yet known? Think you've jumped the gun a bit0

the OP has said that it's the Hilton that has taken the money so as far as the OP is concerned that is the case & he has the right to complain!! If the transactions have gone through via the Hilton then of course the OP will complain about them!!!nothing to see here, move along...0

A similar thing happened to me.
I had a free night at a Hilton hotel in the states using Hilton reward points. When I booked I was sent an e-voucher which I printed and presented on arrival. I also had to submit credit card details when booking in case I wanted to bill anything to my room. I didn't, so like the op there was nothing to pay, and no bill. On check-in my card was put through the card swipe and handed straight back to me never leaving my sight during the process.
Two weeks later I found a payment of several hundred pounds had been taken from my credit card by the hotel in question. They couldn't explain why either. Eventually it was refunded but I lost out due to an exchange rate difference. I 'phoned my card provider and was told I should normally have to get the lost money back from Hilton. Fortunately it was not much (about a tenner I think) so as a gesture of goodwill they credited it to me at their loss. Fair play to MBNA. They tagged the payment as well to show it was in dispute, and I think it would also flag further demands from that hotel as unauthorised.

Hmmmmm 9 fraudulent transactions payable to the Hilton Hotel, when she recently stayed in the Hilton Hotel and gave them her Debit card details, who else should she blame - Kwik Fit?0
