No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries June 2014

I bought a bottle of Boots own brand facial scrub as mine had run out, as well as a massive bottle of that in-shower body lotion. I had a bottle given to me for Christmas which ran out last week and this big bottle was on sale for £4 so I couldn't really complain! Should last me until the end of the year.

As me and the OH are saving for a house and a baby pretty much all of my spare cash is going in various saving pots and bank accounts. So what I have decided to do is ask family for toiletries for my birthday (July 16th) so I can have a nice stockpile to dip into (plus, my family will probably buy good quality products - asked my auntie for some rimmel and miss sporty make up one year and she bought me benefit and chanel!)

asset, so sorry to hear whats happened and how upset you are at the thought of attending the funeral, i agree with the advice youve been given on here.

no uus but i did have a lovely pamper session this morning my friend is a trainee beautician and she needed someone to do a facial on so ive had a galvanic facial followed by a vacuum massage and face pack. only draw back is i cant now wear make up for 24 hours and im as thirsty as anything!!

assett - I have the same problem. It isn't just funerals with me either, if someone tells me a mildly sad story i will be trying to blink back the tears whilst they are fine. Maybe your OH could tell you some funny stories about his grandmother so you can think about them although for me this could work the other way as I also randomly laugh out loud when on my own in public places - it's a wonder I haven't been sectioned yet. Hope you get through the whole think OK.

So sorry to hear your sad news assett - some good advice has already been given which I would also reiterate.

I guess it depends how difficult you think you will find it emotionally and how this will effect you, I would imagine that it could be quite draining and like other people have said, you may worry about how you being upset impacts on other people (not saying that you should - just thinking how it could all impact on you). As your bfs family have been to a funeral with you before that you found difficult, do you think you could talk to them beforehand and then make a decision?

107-108 - 2 x maybelline vintage leather nail polishes

Tried these out on my nails tonight. 1 is horrendous - a grey/green sludge colour, not sure what possessed me to buy this. The other one is more of a tan colour and isn't too bad, have painted my nails with it and it is ok but pretty sure I wouldn't ever choose it to wear again. Added to the sell at car boot sale stash pile, although not sure anyone will want these!

I needed at some point soon a new concealer as my makeup bag one has nearly run out (I keep one in the makeup bag and one in my handbag for top ups) anyway I really wanted to try the maybelline dark circle concealer one, then I saw a new Bourjois mascara and I hate my current waterproof mascara so I thought what the heck 3 for 2 and got the revlon nearly naked foundation as well.

Thanks for the new thread Clutterfree, count me in for another month.

I've not been posting much lately as I haven't had any use ups but I really must do better this month. I think I ended up with two ins last month, but I really need to have a look at my PP list as I keep putting it off.

Painted my nails with OPI DS Reserve last week and just changed it for Lilypad Lacquer Periwinkle Twinkle.
