My totals for May are 38 UUs and 54 INs, I have gone a bit mad lately so I'm going to try to be much more restrained this month, I've got enough of almost everything for several months, tbh I will probably only need to buy shampoo, deodorant and facial suncream in the near future, possibly also body sunscreen if the weather is kind to us!

Back for another month.

Almost stuck to the budget last month but right at the very end I went over. DD3 was off to Italy for a half term photography job. She's very fairskinned so I wanted to be sure she had a mini sunblock and spf chapstick with her. I ventured into poundland with no cash, just a card (minimum card spend is £5) - big mistake! I have a stock pile of Dove shea butter soap, which is becoming my HG, though I fancied something fresher for summer. Poundland had Imperial Leather Grapefruit scented soap, and shower gel. I loooooovvvvvve the smell of grapefruit and have been on a hunt to find the perfect body wash for ages,have been disappointed by BS and Original Source's version, so.... I weakened! The Imperial Leather soap is nothing much to shout about (already given away 1 x3 pack to to hubby, and 1 to my brother) but the shower gel smells amazing.:rotfl:While on summer break from uni I am going to be working 5 days a week in a hot kitchen so I figured I need it anyways.

Avon sheer nourishment tinted moisteriser. No idea what possesed me to buy this. I am more oliveskinned than most, but I will never be that shade of orange.

Put away: Knock off of a chanel no.5, gift from a relative. I have been trying to use this up, but now it's just not summery enough so I think I will put it away till autumn.

Do you ladies have any advice for an ignoramus like me...

during summer I use a 'holiday skin' type moisteriser for my face, a little tan and I usually don't have to use foundation. However I've noticed it does not have spf (!), so I got out Superdrug's 'natural high' day cream spf 15, I also usually wear the Avon virtual lift serum. Basically, what order would you put them on?

UU #98-101: Aldi AquaV Family Shower Gel 300ml; I have a tonne of these stashed for DH to plough though. Emptied 2x the blue stuff into his Radox pump bottle last month but didn't declare at the time as they weren't technically UU; however, I have quickly realised that's just gonna get me muddled So two of the above are UU and the other two green ones (bamboo) have been decanted; from now on I will declare them as OUT when the original bottle is binned. Sorry if that's confusing but it makes sense to me!

I have been doing a "half face" comparison using Rodial Glamtox cleansing balm and Merumaya balm, I bought the Rodial for a really low price on some offer or other, but although it is lovely I would not pay £50 ish for a cleanser. I am happy to report, that on my skin, could see or feel no diffrence at all between them:D

If you haven't had Aldi eye cream before, if your eyes are at all sensitive don't get it. I gave mine away.

It's funny, I would class my entire face as sensitive and I'm doing fine with the Lacura eye cream -- we're an odd bunch, eh?!

It made my skin flake and my eyes stream but then my eyes are sensitive and hayfever ridden which wouldn't have helped. I really like the day cream, the night cream I found ok but nothing special but I thought the eye cream was awful.

The only eye cream I have ever loved is the dr hauschuka one but it is very expensive.

I use a sunscreen as well as bb cream. I tried the one above last year but didn't love it on my face. I found it a bit greasy.

To answer the order of products question, So if it was me in the morning I would apply primer - so if I was you I'd go serum first, then your cream containing sunscreen. I then do powder and reapply sunscreen thoughout the day and powder over the top to stop me looking oily.

You can get mineral powder with sun protection in as well

I only recently bought it but I am liking solait 50spf high mattifying face fluid from superdrug. It isn't that greasy and doesn't have that horrible sunscreen smell that some of them have. To be fair the soltan one smells ok too. I like the soltan body ones the ones which are a clear spray great for not getting cream all over your clothes.

I think you can get the superdrug one in SPF 20, 30 and 50 but I'm ghost pale so it's 50 for me.
