Hester the dresses are lovely x
Spent too much at the garden centre as usual, but I got a lot of things that I needed.
Came home and the smoke alarm was beeping which means it needs a new battery, luckily I always have batteries of all sizes in the cupboard.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

I've got ice on my knee and am sat with it up, but it was worth it, the countryside is beautiful.
Hubby is outside putting sand in the drive that we jet washed out yesterday. It's been a beautiful day but looks like it may rain now.
I'm enjoying Fargo as well.
I also want to watch the bbc4 documentary about the Hay Festival, hubby and I have promised ourself we will go next year.
Have a lovely evening xStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

In my thoughts Judi xxxxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Judi.....hugs and kind thoughts.
Picked some gooseberries today and had them stewed with custard for pudding, just finished the ham, cabbage, carrots and potatoes to a T....will pick some more over the next few days to make jam with some elderflower, makes a huge difference to just ordinary gooseberry jam.
Has been overcast all day but seems to be brightening a bit now, would like to do some stuff outside but hip will not be up to it so will do some crochet instead.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, we have a bank holiday tomorrow.
Stay safe and well

JUDI if you remember and love those who have gone ahead you never lose them, they are still part of your lives and still with you, so I'm sure your dughter knows just how much she's loved and missed and loves you back just as much. She's still part of the family and you're still Mum, and that's a rightness, Hugs Lyn xxx.0

judi <<hugs>> honey,Gone, but never forgotten, as my wise old Mum used to say.
Glorious day today, and I had a bit of a catch up on lots of small jobs, interspersed with youngest DGS Mikey phoning up ever half an hour saying 'Granny have you done your jobs yet ?' its his 10th birthday today and he wanted me round there asap to show me all his presents and of course to get mine to him:) Eventually caved in and one happy little boy later was beaming with joy.So nice to see such cheerfulness in a little chap.He is a real smiley lad and is rarely grumpy. In their house on their birthday they get to choose what's for dinner so tonight we had shop-bought fish'n' chips.Mikey's choice
:). Its his next brother up's Henry's birthday this Tuesday, be interesting to see what he chooses. They very rarely have take-aways in their house only on birthday etc.Felt very odd having fish 'n' chips tonight for Sunday dinner but that's what he wanted
:):)
Tonmorrow I have my old friend June coming to visit me for lunch and I've already made a lasagne and its in the fridge.I have some small rolls in the freezer and some garlice butter so I'll get them out before I go to bed tonight and that will go nicely with our pasta and some salad.
Hope you've all had a good day, June already and it'll soon be mid-summer !!! so where is it ???:):)
Cheer chums

Evening everyone
Hester, thanks for asking been Mia visiting my dd,sil and dgs. They came out of hospital late Friday evening so much of my time last week was spent either at hospital or driving the 40 mins each way from from my dm. The only day I didn't oh was Thursday as that was Ds2 14th birthday so he went to the pictures with his friend and then he wanted to go for a meal at the local carvery which cost me less than the cinema - £3.69 each for the carvery, which the food was very good.
On sat had a bit of a upset my stepdad collapsed in the bathroom, we called an ambulance and they took him into hospital checked him out said it was due to low blood pressure and sent him home. My dm is very concerned as his hands and arms keep shaking and he seems to be getting confused too. They are due at the drs on Wednesday.
I have travelled back home today and just feel so far away at the minute. My db lives nearby and said he will try and call round more, but he has a young family one of who is only 4 months old.
Judi (((hugs))) to you.
Hilstep (((hugs))) - hope you don't get any other side affects.
Hester - thinking of you and your family esp mil.
Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.0
