DD2 who was visiting is having problems with the Zebra child as he's forgotten how to sleep, won't be put down and is wanting to nurse constantly so the poor parents are both physically and emotionally exhausted. I'm going to suggest me going down for a few days just to give her a hand, we'll certainly visit towards the end of the week and big sister will go for part of the weekend. Just a blip I'm sure and will be sorted fairly quickly but when you're living through it, it will seem like a lifetime!!!

Sounds like baby is having a growth spurt - right age as well. Mum just needs to feed and feed and it will get better so you going down sounds like an an excellent idea as you can feed the the mum lots of good nutritious food and lots of liquids. She will produce more milk and he will catch up again. Sure you already know this but it is very common and will happen again and again xxx
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Thanks MOLLY it's good to have someone who actually understands to give advice, much appreciated and will be acted on today. She's a very independent character and it goes against the grain with her to ask, so I'll just make her let me!!! Bless you, Lyn xxx.

Another glorious day here as well animated-smileys-garden-042.gif

I have finally caught up with all the washing :j

We are going to the garden centre this afternoon for a look around.

I have to get in touch with the place I got my apple trees from because one of them is dead :( It didn't look too good when it arrived and had a solitary leaf on it, now it is just a dead stick. It was an expensive one as well

Dinner is chicken salad and jersey potatoes followed by a strawberries and cream sponge.
Ordinary whisked sponge, sprinkled with strawberry liquer topped with whirls of whipped cream, strawberries and a sprinkling of almonds. Yum, yum in my tum :p

(((((((((Hugs)))))))) for Hilly, Molly, LW, dumpling's DH and anyone that I have missed x

DH is bellowing so I had better get my botty in gear

    BFN x

    Afternoon all,

late posting from me today. I had my Grandbaby last night for a sleepover and nothing else got done until he went. How on earth I coped with 5 under 16s i'll never know but I did. 'Eldest' was in his final year of school when 'Youngest' was born.

Men fed, youngest has gone skating and hubby is messing around with the fence still down the garden.

34 years today my eldest daughter died. I celebrate her birthday in my own quiet way but I never forget the day she died either. It was a lovely warm day, just like today and it was on a Sunday too.

Washer is on, two loads are on the line, another one to go.

Onwards and forwards (with a very heavy heart),
wishing you all a great day.

Judi she lives on in your heart, so she's not truly gone from you. x

Apologies for absence yesterday - I don't know where the day disappeared to! Anyways, my thanks to Dumpling for the info on your DH's op; I read your post out to Mr LW. Continued GWS wishes for Mr Dumpling, of course.:o

One thing I did yesterday was to get the routes sorted out for our holiday - our place to Dover, Calais to Brugge, and I've done return routes also, as it's easier than trying to read the outward directions in reverse! We still use the old Autoroute software.:D

Jessie's having a lovely time chasing the squirrels out of the garden; funny how nearly all the dogs we have to stay seem to regard squirrels as the scum of the earth!:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Afternoon all,

    Judi - ((((big hug))))

Been pottering some more in the garden this morning and chatting to neighbours. DH has put in the metal posts to bolster our brick wall, which was weakened by the very strong winds we had earlier in the year.

Feeling a bit down at the moment, have a lot of things going on in my head. Still onwards and upwards.

    Happy Sunday :)

    (((Hugs))) Judi.

Well, not long after I said it looked like it would be a nice day it rained. It has been raining on and off all day. Still, DS2 has taken some shrubs out of the garden and done some other heavy stuff for me. A great help.

Managed to plant all the herbs and take a load of rubble to the skip, DD not home till about 7.30 so we will eat then.

    Take care. XX
