In my experience, I don't think it matters a jot.
Presumably you have the connection organised (?) so, just go with whoever you want and then when you are all 'up and running' do a uSwitch type of search and choose the best deal.
The voltage seems the same whoever you use

Initially you will have to go with whoever is supplying the property as you will be on a deemed contract with that company.
You can then estimate your annual consumption in kWh and look up the cheapest on a comparison website.
On a new build, make sure you read your meters and ensure you know who is supplying the house to give those readings. Too often there is confusion between the first occupants and the builders and unless you sort it out immediately, you might find you are paying for the builder's consumption.0
