Popla appeal help needed!!
Comments
-
I just gave it to you in brief in the previous post !!!! Surely you couyld expand that just a little if you needed to, or look at other POPLA appeals in this thread.
Come on. It's not difficult.0 -
Does anyone have appropriate wording to add to the letter re signage?
I have also looked though the PCN - there is no reference that VCS are working on behalf of Excel....
V.C.S. and EXCEL are sister companies run by the same person , like currys and pc world being a part of the dixons group !
this was all explained earlier on a coupon-mad reply too, including the name of the owner
please read the replies properly , they are all meaningful and need adhering to , so once you posted and asked for help its clear our advice and appeals are better then the one you submitted already which will fail if left on its own
have a look at this recent peel centre appeal , they are Excel too

its easy enough to use search words, find popla appeals for the same company and a similar car park and copy and paste into notepad , surely ?0 -
In addition to the links Redx has provided - take a look at posts #46 - 48 of this thread for an Excel appeal by OP Noppix that recently won at POPLA and is a case very similar to yours in which Excel alleged failure to input correct reg no./pay

See the advice by Coupon-mad in post #48 as well though for some additional amendments suggested to the draft in post #46 when you take a look at the link to the other thread she advises for the suggested wording of a point about Excel admitting they failed to perform the manual checks needed on their P&D /ANPR records - the section you are looking for beginsEXCEL FAILED TO UNDERTAKE THEIR USUAL MANUAL REVIEW OF TICKETS
Excel's unfair parking tickets were exposed in a recent Watchdog Daily article here:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00zkz1k/features/private-parking
and their spokesperson is on record as responding thus in the case of Mr Couzens where Excel admitted their processes failed:0 -
Thanks for all of the advice!
Apeal submitted - I shall just have to wait and see! At the end of the day it is about standing up for something that is totally unfair and unjust!!0 -

Also send a formal complaint to the DVLA using the email address in post #6 of the NEWBIES thread, and be prepared to escalate that complaint as the matter of VCS getting data re a site they have no signage (and possibly no contract) at, is a serious breach of their KADOE contract at the DVLA. This is explained more in post #6 of the NEWBIES thread and also discussed here:

HTH to give you some ideas how to fight back while awaiting your POPLA decision. This is worthy of a strong and escalated DVLA complaint.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
