Don't be fooled by groupon's price. Or the massively over inflated price on Happybeds website.
Here it is on Amazon for just a Tenner more!

I am also after a new mattress.
I have read a load of other threads about new mattresses & I see you know a lot about them so though I would pick your brain!
I would prefer a "Non-Turn" mattress as my husband has a bad back & I am disabled so we need something easy to handle & will struggle to keep a turning a heavy mattress.
Can you explain the benefits & downfalls of each type.
Plus, I dont want any memory foam as I struggle to keep cool in bed.
Many Thanks in advance.0 -
Hello,
What size mattress are you after?
What base is the mattress going onto?
What is your rough budget?
Do you know that non turn mattress still should be rotated round once a month.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -
Hello Pinkypants, Thanks for getting back to me.
We need a 4ft6ins double mattress.
The base is a side opening ottoman & our present mattress doesnt side very much when I open it up.
We do rotate the mattress, but not as often as monthly, so we must start doing that.
I would like to spend no more than £300.00.
I have been looking at Argos online & they have some good reductions.0 -
£300 will get you a pocket sprung mattress, which is far better then an open coil spring. But I don't know of any one sided ones that don't contain memory foam.
Don't be sucked in by the alleged savings made.
Give me a few days and I'll have a look around and try and recommend something.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0 -
That would be great Thanks Pinkypants.
There is no great rush as I havent quite got £300 saved yet.0 -
Any update? I was reading this tread with interest as i was about to buy one of those mattresses off groupon.
Thanks
