I guess you need a software of making tutorial by capturing series of screenshots.
I have used Wondershare DemoCreator, And you can also download it for a free trial.
DemoCreator is more than a software of screen capture.It can record desktop screen activities[FONT=&#23435]，[/FONT]create live flash demo[FONT=&#23435]，[/FONT]video tutorial. You don't need any software if all you want is an iamge of your screen that you can edit the print screen key will do it for you, even on laptops you shouldnt need to use the Fn (function) key print screen is a standard key.

If you want to just capture the active wndow you are useing then hold the alt key and tap print screen.

You can then paste what ever you captured in to which ever program you want.
