Imagine a world... (o2)...

I like the new O2 ads. They state "Imagine a world where existing customers are rewarded for their loyalty" or "treated equally", etc.

I'm still imagining...

I wanted to change my contract to their online 300 which has 600 minutes and 1000 texts for £20 a month no ties (1 month contract rolling). I currently have an online sim only contract with them...

Could they do this??? Nah! "You have to cancell your contract first and buy the new contract, then transfer your number."

Why? It just doesnt make sence. All they have to do is put me on the system under the new contract! But no, i havbe to give 30 days notice and then transfer my number to my new sim.

Brilliant!
Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:

Oh dear! That's a bit of a long winded way of them doing things

Still, take heart ... at least you are being "treated equally" because if that's their way of doing things, others just like you will face the same long winded process.

O2's website is awful. I got completely boggeed down in trying to do my PAYGo top up on line.

I eventually got through to their real "contact us" page instead of useless "help file" pages and they sent me three pages of instructions as to how I should have signed on...

.. except for the fact that "someone" (that was me) had already logged on with my username (yes, that was me) and email name (YES that was ME) and so they couldn't change anything no matter how well the applicant (yes it's still me) made their case for a change until the account (HELLO_O_O_O_O it's still mine) had been allowed to lapse for six months.

We need a :spit: (not) smiley :)

I edited my owl avatar to be animated and blink
    owl.gif wait for it :)

But for some unknown reason us BG's are limited to 50 x 50 avatars instead of the usual 80 x 80 ... mine looks silly that small. Go figure
