There is a lesson in there.
Something isn't a bargain if you can't use it so mystery boxes aren't usually the bargain they appear.
Yes you can possibly use some of it for presents if it's suitable but as a receiver I'd say that sometimes it's obvious that someone is dumping unwanting items on you rather than actually choosing you something.
I don't like to be negative but you do have to weigh up the possibility that some of it will be unusabe.

Im still waiting for time bomb, I think I paid nearly 2 months ago!

It was oversubscribed and they didn't have stock so they are manufacturing it.
It's expected late September.
Many of us have received an offer of an alternative but I'm sticking with Time Bomb.

Yes I know.
I think they should have advised people when they were paying they didn't have stock to fulfill & it would take s couple of months.
It doesn't sound very honest taking money for goods you don't have to sell.

I received my alternative offer of Original Source yesterday and it is such a nice product so I am really glad. Probably wont buy from them again though because not very pleased about the wait

I agree.
Most companies take payment upon despatch, that's not actually a legal obligation though just good practice.

My email does say "estimated delivery september" so that was published up front, but I agree they shouldn't take the money in July when they know that.

Totally agree- I had/have no money to spend at the moment on anything other than the absolute basics- I'm even unable to treat a cough/cold at the moment! So I took a miss on the boxes.


I'm so grateful to everyone who has posted what went in to their boxes, it helps people like me to root the good from the bad and to work out for next time what is worthwhile. The boxes sound poor value and also sound as if the rrp was exaggerated and I hope everyone who was disappointed is able to make a complaint and either get some money back or some additional decent products sent out, thank you again for all posting what you have as it is very helpful rather than being a rant!
