what kind of products do they have in the mystery boxes? I'm interested in the amber and rose.
I'm guessing it was left over odds and ends from previous boxes. I was considering ordering- last year these were excellent at giving as gifts for Christmas (sorry for saying the 'C' word!) but it's not possible to only pay delivery for ordering two different box types though so I've erred on the side of caution- I don't know what could be in either box but on looking back, many of the items wouldn't work for me or anyone I know. If they could link the postage I'd have signed up though.

I have a hunch that as the Rituals set they sold earlier in the year was green, and also was zen/far east-ish, that the 'Jade' box is going to contain some more of this stuff. Well, that's what I'm hoping as I liked it!
  • I had the lilac mystery box earlier this year and as far as I can remember the colour was immaterial - there wasn't anything lilac/purple/mauve in it except maybe a nail varnish. I've ordered the Jade one this time. I'm also hoping for a Rituals item in it!
  • couldn't find a link to the mystery boxes. have they all gone?
when life gives you lemons, stick them in your top & pretend you have pointy boobs.

  • I went for the Amber as it says there is a mixture of home fragrance and beauty, hoping for a rituals diffuser

Mine has just been delivered too and I got the exact same four items except my lipliner was peach nectar.

Like you, not anything I will be able to use myself. I went for the "home and beauty" one so was really hoping there would be a wee rituals thing in the box but no luck.

To be fair to them though, if you google the products and see the prices, it was a bargain - it just wasn't a bargain for us because the contents aren't any good to us. Oh well - someone can have make up for christmas :-)

I must admit I was a bit disappointed with my the last mystery box too so I might just give any future mystery ones a miss.
  • Does not have RRP of £65!

    Organic Children Sun Lotion £10
    Eyeko fat brush mascara £15
    New cid lip liner £15.50

Prices above all taken from manufacturers websites.

Baby's comforter by Angelique - company no longer exists, last submitted accounts in 2011, was in an All Boxed Up Mother and Baby box in summer shown as RRP £18 (though don't know who in their right mind would pay £18 for a piece of cotton sheeting with minimal embroidery and a bit of stuffing!!). So even with this inflated price, total £58.50. Have emailed to complain but given other comments will not be expecting a reply any time soon.
