Hi just thought id give an update now in it's 10th week!! And still nothing
rang this morning and the manager is sending off a escalation to tell them to deal with the claim now as it's not acceptable that we've had nothing and no information on what's taking so long but still it could be up to 10 days longer
so depressing I feel really let down by them I put a complaint in a month ago heard nothing over that and the number I was given to ring about it isn't recognised !! 0 -
I know rang again today still no updates so disappointed in the way they've dealt with it all it'll end up being 11 weeks plus at this rate0

well looks like im set to have the same problems, i put in for a new claim 6 weeks ago, forms took 2 weeks to arrive, posted them back again the same day, that was 4 weeks ago and they are still not showing on the system. They have sent a referral to try and chase the forms up and have said they have till 3rd July to respond and if nothing is sorted they will send out more forms..... then i'll have to wait another 2 weeks and send them back, then 3 weeks to go on system and up to 3 weeks for payment, that takes me into august. Im meant to be going on holiday next month but no money now (been booked since last year, only a week in blackpool nothing special) i have 4 children and im pregnant and due in august, all we have to live on is husbands wages and child benefit each month which doesn't even cover the bills, we are falling behind with everything. Really don't no how we are going to manage

Try write too your mp too I did but I ended up waiting til it was in it's 9th week and it takes then a week to acknowledge they even have the letter from the mp! I was so worried over bills and all they kept saying to me was well it will all get backdated which didn't help at all! Also if there is a citizens advice maybe goto that as the help a lot too hope this gets sorted for u
