You can book direct with the hotel, but I found this worked out more expencive for us once you took flights into account http://www.doradapalace.com/. I think otherwise its soley First choice, but don't take that as gospel.

Barcalona airport? You don't land there, you land at Reus, which isn't far about 15mins, but when you are dropping off all the other guests its about 40 mins. As for barcalona, apparently on a straight run its about 50-60 mins, I have never been so this is just from memory of the leaflet I read.

Hi all - got the Ryan air freebie :beer: to Barcelona.... now just need accomodation (obviously the cheaper the better) oh - and car hire!!!
Can't wait - will try Wanty's place (since it comes so highly recommended! ) - and if not I'll shop around. I think it is better to head south since we will hire a car and you only have to drive that far twice - I was originally planning on heading to somewhere like LLoret de Mar or Calella but Salou sounds much nicer.
