Got a massive help from a family member in connection with paying for bathroom fittings and materials because they work in the building trade so took off VAT and negotiated a huge discount with supplier, plus sent some stuff back, then they paid for it and I am paying them back in instalments, with them insisting I don't have to pay for some of the materials as they can make use of them from what's left. A brilliant kindness which has meant a saving of £1,583 to me. So I'm adding this. It has taken a few months to come together and getting a decent bathroom was long overdue.

Felt I should add this! Feeling very, very grateful.

27p in nectar points from adpoints
    £6.50 fb sale

Friends came over yesterday to sort out my much neglected front garden as a thank you for looking after their dog, that gave me such a lift, I think my tangled and overgrown patch of grass was lowering the tone. Not adding anything for this but definite savings made there, no idea I would have had to pay someone. Both my mum and my father in law been in hospital these last weeks and it has been a nightmare. Can feel my tendency to ramble has appeared.

    Good luck all xx
