    Hi,

Can I join please. I will try for the £10 a day.

I have a few bits on Ebay and have some overtime due this month. Not sure what else I will try, will have a good look through the thread for ideas later.

Any money made is going in a separate account to pay towards for holidays, as this is often what has got me in to debt in the past.

also a cheque for £8 from BT but a few years old not sure they will accept but will pop to the bank in my lunch break tomorrow.

    3. 18 months ago I made a successful ppi claim from santander discovered they are still taking £11.09 DD not sure why.

All help/ suggestions would be gratefully received. Thank you all:T
Cheques usually valid for one year but if you contact BT you should be able to get them to re-issue the cheque as you haven't cashed it.

I would just go on-line NOW and cancel the DD with Santander (make a note of the details first) and then send them a mail asking for refunds of overpayments.

If you look at the top of the page on right you will see Income in the green box. Click on there and follow links for lots of money making ideas.
Good Luck and keep posting so we know how well you doing :T

I needed a new vacuum cleaner. Thanks to this thread and MSE in general bought one today for £2 :D

Argos had a lovely vax reduced to half price. I had £20 due from shop and scan and consumer pulse, sold a comp win on ebay, bought a mighty deals voucher worth £10 for a fiver, and only had to pay£2 :)

    happy days.
Thanks Aesop - that's great :money: and made me

Hi Jay125 good luck -- mileage claims are definitely allowed, I like to think they are especially allowed if you haven't previously filled them out, as in my mind this makes them a definite 'extra'! :)

I've decided to set a date for the weekend after next for a car boot sale.

This month I'm keeping a spending diary and I'm not liking the look of it so far!

I'm setting myself a target of making £60 after any fees etc in sales this month. We'll see!

That would mean pending I could have:

Sales (car boot, eBay and Facebook) £60
Mystery shopping £50 pending already -- need to check if remaining ones will go to next month, I think they might.
    Santander cashback £5?
    Confirmed on TCB £20.48
Mileage claims (2 owed as only just filled in last month's) £136

    I've added from today:

8p from Qmee (first in ages) for typing heart rate monitor watch into Google.
    79p nectar points
    24p nectar adpoints
    3p found

All tiny amounts but I like to feel I'm doing something at least!

Wishing everyone a great week. Very impressed with the vacuum for £2 Aesop I'm putting off doing something about ours.

I've needed a new vacuum cleaner for a year but not been able to afford it. Been holding it together with duct tape but when it really wasn't picking anything up off he floor, knew it was time for a new one. First though I had to buy a new dustbin the kitchen. And that is where my last lot of consumer pulse and shop and scan vouchers went. That was completely free, then had to start saving for the vacuum cleaner. Was so chuffed when I saw the vax go half price.

Just shows we can have nice holidays and nice things if we are savvy enough ;):money:
