Three people have now said you should read the NEWBIES thread, yet you persist with old advice to ignore.
Just for final clarification. Do Not Ignore.

    There are 2 steps:

    1) Appeal to the parking company using the template contained in post 1 of the Newbies thread.
    2) When the parking company reject your appeal then appeal to POPLA, again using the templates, this time contained in the 'How to win at POPLA' link in the 3rd post of the Newbies thread.

Also, if there are any shops attached to the car park then go and complain to them.

Sometimes - very rarely - we come across someone who really can't be helped. You might be one of those.

You have been told that the post you quoted is years old and the law has changed. We have people on here who know what they are doing and you choose to ignore that advice.

It's your choice and you may very well be right in your case by ignoring it. In which case, ok and good night.

But before you go, just look at any other thread on here - particularly where court is mentioned. Clearly if ignore worked in all cases, this forum would be 10% of the length it is.

But good luck with your decision.

If you can't handle this yourself then this service will help you. It's £16 and they will deal with everything - that's all you pay even if they 'lose' as they guarantee they will pay the £100 if they do.

The service is run by two experienced and trusted forum members who know this stuff inside out.

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Seriously? You've read a sticky thread that says 'wait for the first letter then send this template appeal' (copy & paste it). And you don't know what to do?

And you want to rely on a 2011 thread you should never have wasted your time reading as it pre-dates the law change, and you actually want to ignore the thing?!

As Umkomaas says you sound like a candidate for the no-risk appeal service at £16 if you can't read the advice yourself and send a template appeal. Your choice.

I decided to go to http://www.parkingticketappeals.org.uk

Hopefully i'll be ok now, not sure how on earth they win the majority of parking ticket appeals but apparently its a win win, so all good for £16 :-D

To be fair there are some people who really do struggle with the the whole thing which is why a couple of respected members of the forum set up parkingticketappeals.org.uk. £16 to pay someone else to take the stress out of the whole thing is worth it for some people.

I'm the same when it comes to gardening. I only have a small one, but I would much rather pay someone to do it than do it myself, even though I am quite capable. Each to their own.
