otherWith DD1 I used fuzzi bunz for daytime and ella's house bum huggers for night time. I loved both of them (and still have lots as a result!). I would recommend pocket nappies to anyone. For my girls, if the nappy leaked it was because I was trying to use the wrong size. I found them easy to stuff, could make some up to leave for babysitters, they washed well and dried quickly. The bumhuggers were very absorbent, (although took ages to dry) whilst the fleece liner kept bottom dry overnight. Too bulky for day wear but fantastic for night. I used motherease wraps.
With DD2 I brought some tots bots, with a strawberry print wrap and some fleece linings. Whilst I did like these, I've ended up back with my fuzzi's and bum huggers.
In 4 years, my fuzzi's and bum huggers are still going strong (including the ones I brought second-hand). I have had to replace wraps. My mother ease wraps lasted first daughter and initally DD2 but replaced about 12 months ago. The wool wraps I tried I did like at the time but again didn't last very long. I liked the fleece wraps for daytime, not waterproof enough for night or sitting in the car for long journeys, didn't really use them as fuzzi's (daytime nappy of choice) don't need them.
When I first started I hired a 2 week trial pack (it was expensive but worth it as it saved me from making mistakes and introduced me to brands I hadn't heard of). I can't remember who I hired it from, it was an internet company. I hated prefolds, did not get on with them at all. Also didn't like all-in-ones as had problems drying them.
As long as you stock different types as oppose to different brands you should be ok. Hope this has been of help. Had forgotten how enthusastic I could get about cloth nappies!0 -

tots bots bamboozleWith my dd I used the original cotton TotsBots with Motherease wraps (Rikki velcro ones and Airflow popper ones). They were fab, if a bit on the bulky side. They then brought out the rainbow TotsBots which were much slimmer so ideal for daytime use.
With my ds I used the cotton TotsBots again, but was finding them a little bit too bulky with most of his trousers. I then switched to Bamboozle TotsBots - the only drawback for me was drying time. I much prefer nippa fastening to velcro, but found once the Bamboozles were washed a few times, the fabric "curled" making it difficult for the nippa to grip. I understand TotsBots have discontinued this fastening for those reasons, and now have popper fastening Bamboozles. I also used muslins on my ds in the 1st few weeks when he was too small for proper cloth nappies - they were fab too!
I much prefer Motherease wraps to TotsBots own - for some reason they seem to fit better over TotsBots and also don't wick as much!0 -
otherI used to use terries and motherease wraps, now we mostly use minki stuffables with terries inside
I've never used shaped nappies full time as they take so much longer to dry.0 -
one lifeWe're planning on using One Life and have just finished pre-washing them in preparation for baby arriving in a few weeks.
We went to the baby show and looked at them all one after the other and thought these were the best for our needs. They do take a fair while to dry, but because the pack we bought came with 20 nappies, decided we would have plenty to cover us.0 -
otherSERIOUS NAPPY ADDICT ALERT
We used
Bimbles and Bumbles by Easypeasy nappies at home in the day at home with motherease wraps. At night we used Unbleached Tots with fleece tots wrap. I was also given a set of Onelife by a friend who didnt get on with them so I left them at my MIL when I went back to work as MIL couldnt deal with Nappi Nippas.
We are now using a couple of Minki stuffables at night as shes potty trained in the day.
I've also had tonnes of others the only ones I really disliked where Nature babies and Bambino Mio wraps they leaked like mad. Motherease are the only way to go with wraps imo.Sorting my life out one day at a time0
