Address of Gillian Drakeford, IKEA country head?

Hi all, we bought a sofa from IKEA in November last year. It is faulty and I want to send a copy of my complaint letter to the country head, but can not find her postal address, does anyone know it?
The sofa is faulty in that there is a length of material that has an anchor point at the end, which in turn goes into a metal support strut which spans the width of the sofa. When taut, the seat cushions are as they should be. However when it has detached, the cushions sag. This joint is inherently weak. We are having a constant issue with this joint popping out.
The in store team told me there were problems with this line of furniture and therefore I should choose a new sofa and they would organise a delivery, collect and swap. This was all set up when I received a rude phone call from an IKEA customer relations person in some call centre. I was told someone would have to assess it. Setting that up is another sub story to a long saga that I will not bore you with.
The assessor turned up today and proceeded to poke holes through the material and then fasten the bit that keeps falling out to the support strut with cable ties. This to me is a make do and mend, not an effective repair.
The holes will clearly have an effect on the integrity of the material held in place. Moreover, I use cable ties to hold a bit of broken handle together on my walking stick. The cable ties only last a couple of months before they snap and I need to replace them. I have the tails he cut off and they are a similar thickness to those I use on my walking stick. I cannot see the cable ties placed on the sofa lasting as long as the sofa is supposed to last. This is not an acceptable repair.
The chap wanted me to sign his iPad, when I asked what I was signing I was told it was to agree he had not caused any damage to my home. I pressed him to be able to read it myself and if I had signed it, I would have agreed that I was happy with the repair. I was not expecting a repair, it was supposed to be an assessment. I was certainly not going to sign to say I was happy with the repair, which I think is a poor repair.
Overall there are many aspect where IKEA have failed to fulfil their obligations under the Sale of Goods Act. Following the repair, IKEA would not talk to me on the phone. I have written my complaint letter (inc photos) and it is ready to send off to the manager of the store from which I bought it and had organised the collect, pick up and swap, alongside the customer relations department. However, I also want to send it to Gillian Drakeford, the Country Manager for the UK.

Forgot about Companies House... Found head office address and will send my letter addressed to there, hopefully it will get passed on to someone who can help, rather than an unhelpful person on the phone at customer relations in Peterborough.
For anyone looking that address is:
IKEA LIMITED
WITAN GATE HOUSE
500-600 WITAN GATE WEST
MILTON KEYNES
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE
MK9 1SH
Company No. 019862830 -
I think this is the address
Ikea Ltd. Ikea Tower 255 North Circular Road London NW10 0JQ England Phone: 020-8233-2300 Fax: 020-8451-2813
I've lived in Milton Keynes for 10 years and I'm positive that their head office isn't here!0 -
Your letter will probably be passed to Customer Relations in Peterborough to deal with.0

A registered address is not necessarily a head office, or any office at all of the company.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
According to the Ikea site, the registered office isWitan Gate House, 500-600 Witan Gate West, Milton Keynes, MK9 1SH
http://www.ikea.com/ms/en_GB/privacy_policy/privacy_policy.html
but that doesn't mean it's the head office.
Edit: Beaten to it! If you google the above address it brings up a lot of different businesses.0 -
Thanks everyone,
I know it is more than likely to be passed across to customer relations, but a letter addressed further up the food chain may at least make them sit up a little bit.... I shall send it to the Ikea Tower address mentioned by LilElvis - I came across it on other websites but from a google search it is the same address as their Wembley store.
Thanks for the advice.0 -

Yes, there's an office block on the same site as the store.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Ah ok, thanks. I'm in Leeds and have not been to the Wembley site. Address on letter amended and ready to post.0

Even so, it doesn't necessarily follow that this is where she is based. I used to work at the head office of a FTSE 100 company and the CEO had an office he used once or twice a year. He, and several other directors, were actually based in a small office in Mayfair which you wouldn't even notice if you walked past it. You can only hope that your letter will be passed to someone in a position to escalate your case and help you get a resolution.0 -
