In that case, why does one need the APN of one's home network and why is one's public IP address that of one's home network rather than an IP address of the visited country? This suggests that all data is routed via one's home network.As for data, I believe , its often handled locally nowadays.0 -
CAMEL is mainly used for pay as you go isn't it? Not all countries have implemented phase 4?

CAMEL is only for payg and isn't that reliable, and a lot of overseas networks don't have it due to it's cost. Which is why you can't use payg in some places when you can use contract...0 -
Hi, i had exactly the same thing yesterday. £1200 for a data bill from 7 days in Turkey, i had also previously taken off the limit (i thought for a month) in 2013.
Did you hear any more on this? it is in dispute now.0
