I have also experienced Pixmania after-sales customer service. An item was returned to them in January this year for a repair/replacement. Still waiting.......
Absolutely rubbish service if anything goes wrong.

Instruction books in French, good for the French but not much good for the English0

The prices are good, but there customer service when anything goes wrong is appalling!
Unfortunately, that statistic is ulltimately meaningless and will be a complete distortion of reality.
Most people leave feedback when they have a negative experience - it's an easy way of venting your spleen in a few lines of vitriol!
If Pixmania hacked off over 90% of all their customers through selling faulty goods, they would be out of business by now. They are a big company fulfilling hundreds, if not thousands, of transactions every day.
Most people's transactions will go the way mine did. I ordered on-line, took delivery, set the appliance up and am perfectly happy. I haven't reviewed the transaction anywhere - apart from here
Thus while it is useful to take account of negative reviews of customer service, also bear in mind the bigger picture - otherwise you can miss out on some very good bargains;)0 -
Ive ordered many things from them. Never had a problem!
Once again MORE people will comment when things go wrong! Ive used so many random sites to buy things and never mention them, but if something would go wrong, I'd be posting about it for advice etc etc..
So jsut because it has more people posting about the bad points, simply means its a busier shop, not that its disappointing a higher percentage of people etc...
Be wise. Its a governed commercial business.[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

I've bought from them once, but never again.0

I've heard that Jessops are really struggling at the moment and are going through a massive transitional period where around 550 jobs are being axed and 81 stores are being shut down:

If a proposed refinancing package by HSBC goes through there may be special offers coming our way to re-birth the company. Failing that, stock could be sold off at hugely reduced rates.
Keep a beady eye out!4 wheels drives a body, 2 wheels drives the soul! :cool:0 -
Hi
We've just ordered a camera for them.
No complaints about them bar the fact that the instructions are in French.
When I asked if I could be sent an English version the sent me alink to a website with the instructions on.
So all in all camera is great, managing with online instructions, price was great and delivery was fineGive me the boy until he's seven and i'll give you the man.0 -
The thing with Pixmania is its great if there is no problems, its when something is wrong that they let themselves down badly as their customer service leaves a lot to be desired and the turn around is bad due to them being in France.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no. 1021 - Proud to be dealing with my debts.0

Keep a beady eye out!
Stock is being sold off reduced @ 40 'clearance stores', but clearance stock only so not cameras like the F31.
That said the F31 is a brilliant camera and I highly recommend it0
