Pixmania- comments please!!

Hi all, I am after a fuji F31fd and pixmania seems to be the cheapest. I know jessops will price match if they can but the difference is quite a lot but after loking at the technical part of the camera spec it doesnt specify if the camera comes with a charger or leads to connect to pc or even a mains lead wheras jessops does. I tried to mail them but they dont seem to have an address just a phone so I will call tomorrow. Has anyone experienced them? is this how they keep the prices down by not including things you would expect or am I just reading too much into it? if anyone has bougth a camera or had recent dealings I would be pleased to hear from them

I've never had a problem with them but I live in France and can read French so it's no big deal if the instructions come in French and I don't need an adaptor plug.

Tread carefully with them I think is the message from others!

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!!

My husband bought a DivX player that didn't work properly from the minute it was taken out of the box. After phoning the manufacturer, they said it had a fault and to send it back to the retailer. It took Pixmania months to even acknowledge that there was a fault - after hubby had sent loads of e-mails to find out what was going on - and then another couple of months before we were sent a replacement.

We had to pay the postage to send it back to France, and although they said they would refund the postage, over a year later and we are still waiting.

I bought an LG 42" Plasma from them. Fantastic price, quick delivery and it's been great for the past four months or so.

Ive just used them for the first time, it stated items delivered within 2 to 3 days but it actually took a week ad a half as it came from abroad, also the electrical items Id ordered came with plug adaptors which im not keen on and there was no mention of that on the site.

Dont agree Im afraid, Ive had a Canon Pixma ip8500 from them and my Creative Zen, both came in good time, (at least I cant remember them being late), and found the prices good.

I guess they are the same as anyone else, cant please all the savvy consumers all the time.

Well, going back to my post above, out of the 278 reviews of Pixmania only 21 people recommended them - a total of 8% :eek: :eek: :eek:

The prices are good, but there customer service when anything goes wrong is appalling!

Gosh, reviews like that would put anyone off, compared to the rest of the reviews, lots of interest in that particular site. lol
Just stating the service I recieved was good, and I had no complaints.
