Well done to you on the ticket.
I offer my best wishes on the cancer front, it's a horrible disease and one in three of the population is effected by it at some point in their lives. Amazing progress has been made and long may it continue. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

But that is coupled against the fact that keeper liability does not exist in Scotland so it is still safe to ignore a PCN.0 -

The company calls itself CAR PARKING PARTNERSHIP. But this is just a trading name of LIBERTY PRINTERS (AR AND RF REDDIN) LIMITED.
The ticket was actually cancelled by someone working for the security company at S!!!!horpe General Hospital. That security company goes by the name of ISS but I am unsure as to the exact incorporated name.
That ISS employee told me that CAR PARKING PARTNERSHIP is a partnership between ISS and LIBERTY PRINTERS (AR AND RF REDDIN) LIMITED. But this claim is belied by the fact that CAR PARKING PARTNERSHIP is used as a trading name of LIBERTY PRINTERS (AR AND RF REDDIN) LIMITED and not a separate legal entity.
If you look on the BPA website, LIBERTY PRINTERS (AR AND RF REDDIN) LTD also trade using the names: CAR PARKING PARTNERSHIP LTD and LIBERTY SERVICES LTD. But the problem is that a limited company cannot trade under the name of another limited company.
There is a dormant company called CAR PARKING PARTNERSHIP LIMITED which was, presumably, created merely to protect the business name CAR PARKING PARTNERSHIP. Yet, if it is non-trading, why is it a member of the BPA and why does it claim to offer parking services on its website?...
http://www.carparkingpartnership.co.uk/About%20Us.html
I can find no existing company called LIBERTY SERVICES LTD but a company called LIBERTY SERVICES LIMITED was dissolved on 12/11/2010.
The ticket I received was in the name of LIBERTY PRINTERS (AR AND RF REDDIN) (without the limited suffix) which would be a separate legal entity to the incorporated body of the same name if it even existed. I would suggest the unincorporated LIBERTY PRINTERS (AR AND RF REDDIN) does not exist at all and so the ticket was issued on behalf of a business that does not exist!
Further confusion abounds as the name of the company on the car park sign is LIBERTY PRINTERS (AR AND RF REDDIN) Ltd as it is on the BPA website but the company registered at Companies House is registered with the Limited suffix rather than the Ltd. suffix. A company should always use the correct suffix under which it is registered.
Some of these errors are minor but I think some would prove fatal to any enforcement action and could even negate any past tickets issued. I told this to the ISS employee but he did not agree with me. The only reason he gave for cancelling the ticket was because my house had been flooded in a tidal surge, even though that flood was more than 3 months before the ticket was issued! He did not, apparently, cancel the ticket because I attended hospital as a drive-in emergency.0 -

Yep we have heard of this bunch and all their different names have been discussed before on pepipoo forum I seem to recall. But we never really got to the bottom of it. Seeing as CPP don't do small claims (just threatogram letters) no-one was overly bothered even if their fake PCN wasn't cancelled!
Glad yours was though as it will save you getting 'THE DREADED PINK LETTER'!* #cue the dramatic music#!!
* it's not really 'dreaded - but it is pink and loads of people post about it like it's something special, LOL!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I was back in A&E, S!!!!horpe Hospital last night (twice) and spoke to one member of staff about the parking ticket I had received. Apparently, questions had been raised before over the confusion of names used by the Car Parking Partnership.
Do any other parking companies working for other NHS Trusts ever take people to Court? If they do not, there seems little point in appealing any ticket on NHS Trust property.
The British Parking Association is not a regulator nor an independent ombudsman; it exists for for the interests of its members (ie the parking companies) so how can it be trusted to be impartial in any ticket appeal?0 -
Yep ParkingEye do and some NHS Trusts, like Aintree Hospital, sue people themselves using Trethowans Solicitors.
The BPA don't handle appeals.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

But, I believe, POPLA was set up by the BPA, even though POPLA claims to be independent?0
-
The BPA own Popla, they are not fit for purpose as I have said all along when this lot was set up. Also the top people at Popla are members of the BPAWhen posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
