    I don't see any reason why companies should have to declare this on their websites, when almost everyone knows anyway or they can tell you when you apply.

    The rants about Ofcom aren't relevant to this subject, and I don't see how it affects a decision either, as most providers are via BT wholesale, so you will get the same answer if you ask several companies.

    We moved to a different area then back to the same exchange 10 years later. The old phone number was no longer available, which wasn't a surprise.

    As this is such a problem look at getting something like the truecall system where every caller gets screened before being allowed through.

    From what you say about wanting peace it would be money well spent to end your problems
