Hi all,

I'm near end of 12 mnth contract on O2 so rang CPW (I got contract through them) for a PAC and this is what I was offered:

Handset price £99.99
£35/mnth
12mnth contract
Nokia N95 (new)

OR

Handset price FREE
£35/mnth
12mnth contract
Nokia N95 (CLEARANCE)

Are these good offers? I've not done my research on N95 yet so these offers caught my surprise.. I could with some advice, thanks :)

The N95 is a good phone from what I've read. What is the difference between the 2 offers?

Just edited post to make it clear - basically they are offering me clearance handset for free, or a new one for £99.99 (plus the monthly charge for contract in both cases).

Not sure if it this is the best offer around..

Actually that is a good offer... but I really like the N95 handset so don't mind paying for the contract, as long as the overall deal is good.

Found this deal with vodafone: http://www.mobilephonesdirect.co.uk/phonenetwork-302-1-Nokia_N95_on_Vodafone.html

So rang CPW to check if they'll beat the deal but they say they won't even price match it! That's really p'd me off.. i'll just be getting my PAC and moving to vodafone.

Wouldn't bother asking cpw to price match ANYTHING. It's a completely wasted phone call. They were dumped by Vodafone so couldn;t match those deals anyway - but don't match anything decent in any case. Ignoe their "guarantees" and "we won't be beaten" slogans; that's all they are!!

I rang today to finally get my PAC number.. the guy at the other once again tried to offer me deals but rubbish as before. But I ended up getting a SIM only deal instead:

£30 a month with £300 credit applied to account upfront (so in the end, 10 month free)
    12 month contract
    200 mins + 200 txts

Couldn't say no to the above, no phone with it but gonna get the phone anyway with a new contract, prob from vodafone :)

"upgardes" are another matter. I agree - they offer you deals you can't resist if you stick to your guns. BUT they count against the maximum nmber of contracts in a given time that you can get from internet cpw companies (so annoyingly I declined and let my contract expire quietly).
