Only got £4000 odd as oversubscribed.
Happy to hold.
Very good, seems a reasonable take but I dont think you have to hold now. 10% isnt a big deal, doesnt mean the commentators were wrong on the valuation just on the other end of the scale they missed the larger demand out there on the IPO
Even royal mail has come down, people might not hold. Depends on the ftse also.
I'd rather people did hold tsb as I hold lloyds and I want them to realise cash where they are forced in a sucessful way.
Of course this means the whole co-op debacle and washout was to profit and a good thing in total for Lloyds. Happy days and I'm more willing to buy and hold lloyds now.Thrugelmir wrote: »Sold out too. Didn't expect such a good first days premium.
Cant help but think to take profit and then the interest on the cash for the rest of the year if necessary is smartest. Reset the radar and scan the horizon as it were0 -

there is even a theory that lloyds were keen for the co-op to be the preferred bidder, because they knew it would all fall apart, and it gave them time to wait until they could get a better price for TSB in an IPO ... just a theory, mind ...0 -

No guarantees. After all there's still another 65% to follow. With Co Op no longer Lloyds problem. Now they've a competitor who they hold a stake in.0 -
worked out alright this didn't it!
I applied for two sets of £2k - one in my ISA and one in the wifes - got them both of course. Flipped one set at 13% gain on day1 which was the plan (to flip for a few quid - i figure if you can take a few hundred for "doing nothing" its been a productive morning)
the other lot i've held for the unconditional trading and will review tomorrow. A significant hike after the bell today would point to a decent start - here;s hoping.0 -
You know this thing where you get a 5% bonus in shares if you hold them for a year, does it have to be ones bought in the initial offer only?0
