If you're submitting via email/web form, giving them a contact email address, then it probably doesn't matter.
  • I have no objection to inserting it, the VCN was received after i moved hence my appeal being over the time limit but I guess thats irrelevant to POPLA any way isn't it.

If you submit on-line and provide an email address then yes it's not relevant.

ok thanks everyone so much. I now need to copy the PCN and liability notice which thankfully I brought back with me, the email I guess and then submit all this online. I am feeling a little less stressed so i just hope it all works out now. I will keep you all posted.
  • Hi everyone

have just submitted my POPLA code and now its asking for details, should I put the current details as in address as I am now living abroad or the UK one where the notice from VCS was sent originally.

Also the reason for the appeal, does this matter which i tick or do i tick all except vehicle stolen ?

Why are you appealing? (Please tick)

    I was not improperly parked.

The parking charge (ticket) exceeded the appropriate amount.

    The vehicle was stolen.

I am not liable for the parking charge.

    Thank you

I would use the uk one if you can access mail from there

tick all boxes EXCEPT the stolen one
  • Sorry REDX I meant my actual house address. I am using a uk email which i use over here but had told VCS in my first letter that i had moved abroad and given them my address here but all that was done via email. The original VPN was sent to my uk address.

this is your popla appeal so use any suitable address that you can get mail from , I would assume its best to use a uk address , but as you are submitting by online methods then your appeal result should be returned by email anyway

I think that you are overthinking this so try to keep it simple , as any contactable method is valid , but ideally you want uk mail methods and any email method

if the PCN went to a uk address, and if this can be used for popla , then use it again
