Abbey Easy/Direct isa + Nationwide isa.

Can someone tell which is the best isa to have with either Abbey or Nationwide.

I have a Easy isa account with Abbey but was wondering would it be better to have an Direct isa instead. Or would it be better to move Nationwide who I also have a bank account with.

I currently have £25,000 in the Easy isa, which I cannot see myself touching for the next 5 years put will be contributing £3,000 to each year.

Could some please work out what the differences gain each year on £25,000 between each isa?

please read the thread under the title Abbey Direct ISA Problems by MO2 it might help. The Abbey Direct ISA is still not working????

Bothe Abbey and Nationwide seem to have problems at the moment, especially if you are transferring.

Nationwide seem to be taking months rather than weeks.

As you are with Abbey already, I suspect it might be easier to ask for your Easy ISA to become a Direct ISA. However having just had experience of trying to transfer to Abbey perhaps it will not be as simple as that!
