Signing up for my normal 15 please
And kick-starting with NSD #1 today. No D/Debits as it's a weekend, so I stayed away from the shops and didn't take any on-line spends through checkout (though I've lined one up for tomorrow).
As my first D/Debits go out tomorrow I'm planning on a quick swing through Mr T in the morning, a visit to the PO (birth & marriage certs to passport office as they can't find them on their system from previous passport applications, and birthday card to my 'little' brother ready for Thursday), and an afternoon trip to C0stco (DS1 wants some beer, OH's Mum wants some tea bags, and I want to check prices of some bits - and also check out what choices they have for a couple of cuts of meat I'm desperately short of in the freezers). And then I need to hit an on-line checkout for a discounted grocery hamper (for delivery on 13th). Also thinking of nipping to A1di to stock up on a couple of things before the Super 6 changes, but as it's fresh veg it's an allowable spend so could be done on Tuesday (or even Wednesday which is definitely a spend day as a regular bill goes out) - and I could do with finding time to rejig my freezers first, as I'd like to get everything I've planned to use in June together instead of scattered, and also get all my space together so that I know how much batch cooking I can do and how much fresh veg I can get to put in. (After 3 months of using up I'm actually starting to see some substantial gaps!)Cheryl0 -
Well, today was NSD#1 :j.Very pleased:10% of the way there already :rotfl::rotfl:.I was craving a huge bar of chocolate(yes,it had to be huge!),and if I hadn't already potted the last of May's money,I probably would have used that. But I didn't want to break into my brand new June money just for a chocolate bar

Hi there chiefsfanuk and welcome!Hope you enjoy the challenge.
I'll just go and see if we have a spare coffee cup for you.:)Penguins86 wrote: »I've made it to the end of day 1 without a spend! I did crave pop earlier but decided to use squash from the cupboard instead..healthier and thriftier! So claiming NSD #1 Tomorrow will be a spendy day as I have to get my new bus pass so will try to make this my spend day for the week...can't think that I'm going to need much stuff before next weekend!
Planning ahead and a shopping list are the way to go.Are you going to have any 'allowable' spends,ie that don't count? The great thing about this challenge is that you make your own rules.:)Saver-upper wrote: »Well, today was NSD#1 :j.Very pleased:10% of the way there already :rotfl::rotfl:.I was craving a huge bar of chocolate(yes,it had to be huge!),and if I hadn't already potted the last of May's money,I probably would have used that. But I didn't want to break into my brand new June money just for a chocolate bar.
