And today takes me to NSD #4
Realised yesterday that on my last spend day (Wednesday) I'd forgotten to buy buns for tonight's burgers, which I'd planned to serve with chips - so I decided we'd have to do without the buns. Then this afternoon I realised that the meal plan has burgers with pasta & sauce later in the month, with the pasta from the freezer and sauce from the cupboard..... so we had that version insteadNow I just need to check if we'll have chips next time, or if it's too close to another 'with chips' meal in which case I may do pasta and sauce again (have more of both in the house).

Made DH a curry using half the onion, chicken from freezer and spices from cupboard. DD had falafel using chickpeas from cupboard and half the onion (one turned out to be bad - so annoying).
Today I will be stocking up for the week so the rest of the week should be no spends.
